1. General
By booking lessons with Belgravia Driving School, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These are in place to ensure a safe, professional, and reliable service for all pupils.

2. Lessons & Bookings

– All lessons must be booked in advance and are subject to availability.
– A lesson is considered confirmed once agreed between the instructor and the pupil.
– Standard lessons are 120 minutes (2 hours) in duration.

3. Payments

– Payment must be made in advance or at the start of each lesson unless agreed otherwise.
– Block bookings must be paid in full prior to the first lesson.
– Payments can be made via cash or bank transfer.

4. Cancellation Policy

– A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a lesson.
– Lessons cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice may be charged in full.
– If your instructor needs to cancel, a replacement lesson will be arranged at the earliest convenience.

5. Pupil Responsibility

– Pupils must hold a valid UK provisional or full driving licence and present it if requested.
– Pupils must inform the instructor of any medical conditions or medications that may affect their ability to drive.
– Pupils must not attend lessons under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

6. Instructor Responsibility

– Your instructor will be fully qualified or a DVSA-approved trainee instructor.
– The vehicle will be fully insured, roadworthy, and equipped with dual controls.
– Lessons will be conducted in a safe, calm, and professional manner at all times.

7. Lesson Refusal
Belgravia Driving School reserves the right to refuse or terminate a lesson if a pupil is deemed unfit to drive or behaves in a dangerous, abusive, or inappropriate manner. In such cases, the lesson fee will not be refunded.

8. Driving Tests

– Pupils are responsible for booking their own driving test unless otherwise agreed.
– The instructor reserves the right to refuse use of the vehicle for a driving test if the pupil is not considered test-ready.
– Driving test fees are set separately and are not included in lesson prices.

9. Block Bookings & Refunds

– Block bookings are non-transferable and must be used within 6 months from the date of purchase.
– Refunds for unused lessons may be issued at the discretion of Belgravia Driving School.

10. Late Arrival & No-Show Policy

– If a pupil is late, the lesson will still end at the scheduled time and the full lesson fee will apply.
– If a pupil fails to attend a scheduled lesson (no-show), the full lesson fee will be charged.
– Instructors will wait up to 15 minutes at the agreed pick-up location; after this time, the lesson will be treated as a no-show.

11. Liability
While every effort is made to ensure safety, Belgravia Driving School cannot be held liable for any loss, damage, or injury except where required by law.

12. Data Protection
All personal information is handled in accordance with UK data protection legislation and will not be shared with third parties without consent.

13. Changes to Terms
Belgravia Driving School reserves the right to update these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
