However, four days before my test, Genti told me he didn’t think I had any chance of passing and suggested I postpone it. This completely shattered my confidence and made me seriously doubt my abilities. I was left feeling extremely uncertain about my readiness, despite two other instructors assuring me I was test-ready. I decided to go ahead with the test, using a different instructor’s car since Genti was unavailable. The instructor that accompanied me to my test told me I was test-ready - making him the third instructor to say so. I PASSED on my FIRST attempt in a car I had only driven once, just two days before the test! It was an emotional rollercoaster, but I’m glad I didn’t let Genti’s words stop me. She is such a calm and steady presence that makes you feel safe which was especially good for me as I was a new driver.
